Storyline
The story begins in the year 2022, when during Qatar (Qatar World Cup), suddenly some soldiers from the future come to Earth and announce that in the year 2051 humanity has been attacked by aliens and humans are almost on the verge of extinction. The mission of these soldiers is to win this future war with the help of the people of the present time.
The main character Dan Forester (Chris Pratt) is a school teacher who has also been in the army before. When the government begins recruiting civilians to fight in the war, Dan is called in for the mission.
Dan and his teammates travel to the future where they have to fight the aliens called 'White Spikes'. These aliens are extremely powerful and cruel, who are moving forward to destroy the entire humanity. Dan meets his future daughter Colonel Murry Forester (Yvonne Strahovski) there, who tells him that the only way to destroy the aliens is to create a special toxin, which can completely wipe out their population.
Dan and his team succeed in creating this toxin, but due to the destruction of the time travel technology, he cannot stay in the future for long. Dan returns to the present and with the help of his father James Forester (J.K. Simmons) finds out the truth that the aliens did not come in the year 2051, but they were frozen in the Earth for centuries and woke up due to climate change.
